State Federation Profile
Founded in 1924, the Arizona Federation affiliated with the NFRW in 1940 and is celebrating our 90th anniversary in 2014. Arizona has 27 clubs with more in the wings and is proud to claim our Governor, the Honorable Janice K. Brewer, as one of our longtime members as well as NFRW Immediate Past President Rae Chornenky. AzFRW members have a history of involvement and service to our state and nation. Arizona also has the honor of having been selected as host state for the NFRW 2015 National Convention. We are busy working hard with co-hosting sister states Nevada & New Mexico to put on a Convention you will NOT want to miss!
We invite you to visit our State website for further information on our clubs and activities and the 2015 NFRW National Convention. www.azfrw.com

Loraine Pellegrino has been involved in Arizona politics for many years. Her affiliation with the Arizona Federation of Republican Women (AzFRW) began as a founding member of the Ahwatukee Republican Women's Club in Phoenix.
Since being chartered in 2005, Loraine has served on the ARW executive board in a variety of offices including four years as President.
On the district level, Loraine is both an elected Precinct and State Committeeman. She has served in these positions for the past ten years and is honored to have been
awarded "Most Valuable Precinct Committeeman" in 2010 and 2015 by the AZGOP.
Two highlights of Loraine's political career include being elected as a delegate to both the Arizona and National Republican Conventions in 2012.
Recruiting Republican women to run for office has always been a personal goal which was realized in 2014 when she served as the Campaign Manager for Arizona Representative Jill Norgaard.
In addition to completing her 2nd term as 1st Vice President for the AzFRW, Loraine is also on the AZGOP Executive Committee as an elected Member-at-Large.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Loraine has a B. S. degree in Media and Communications from Sacred Heart University. Following graduation, she pursued a career in the travel industry. During this time she met her husband Ed, whose career
with Honeywell International afforded them with the opportunity to live abroad in
Germany and Phoenix where they have resided for 19 years. They have been married
nearly 32 years and have one son.
